Hello all,
I wish my reason for this email to all of you was a good one as I haven't spoken with some of you in a long time. My old man cat named Bunnicula died last night while I was driving him to animal 911. As I am sure you all know, most of my cats have some illiness as I adopt the sick cats so Bunnicula is no exception. He has diabeties, nervous colotis, and sinusitis among many other things (one being only having 4 teeth!). He is about 18 years old give or take a couple years,... I adopted him as an adult older cat. If I missed anyone or the email I have here is wrong, please feel free to send this email around.

I am sure some of you will ask me if there is anything you can do and there is... If you would like to honor my kitty I would like it (and so would he) very much if you donated to the shelter that I adopted him from in his name. So the shelter people know who he is let me give you a quick "Bunnicula meets Anna" history lesson:

Bunnicula's shelter name was "Digger" because he aparently dug in his litter a lot while he was there. I brought him home/adopted him on May 25, 1994. He is an orange tabby with most of is teeth removed, they did that at the shelter because he had such a bad gum infection. I was still living in Evanston (on a street called Seward) when I brought him home. Any donation you make to the shelter would be greatly appreciated, even if it's a couple bucks... it's money the volunteers didn't have to take care of all the unwanted cats and dogs. The shelter I adopted him from is called "C.A.R.E." which stands for "Community Animal Rescue Effort". There info is:

He brought me great joy. He literally is the sweetest cat you would ever hope to meet, never once have I ever seen him hiss... not once. He talks a lot, he makes funny little crip/burp noises. He sneezes all the time because he has respiratory problems but the sneezing is so cute and so Mr. Bunny. Just touching him once or talking to him can get his little purr box going and he has the *loudest* purr you have ever heard. He has always had a kind of mangey coat but it reminds me of the fur on a well loved old teddy bear. He is just a gentle sweet little attention slut of an orange old man tabby cat. When I saw him at the shelter, he adopted me... I didn't even want to adopt him when I first saw him at the shelter... he looked in pretty bad condition because he was getting over ear mites and his mouth was swolen from the gum infection and the surgery to remove his teeth. In other words he wasn't very pretty, but he taught me that not everything beautiful has to look beautiful. He asked to live with me and I said I would love to have his company. I love him very much. I am going to miss him.
